26/11 Mumbai attacks: Pakistan washes hands off Jundal

"I bring a message of goodwill, peace from the government and people of Pakistan. We talked over Confidence Building Measures (CBMs), Jammu and Kashmir and promotion of friendly exchanges. We discussed these issues in a cordial atmosphere, reviewed progress on peace and security," said Jalil Jilani, Pakistan Foreign Secretary.
"Terrorism is a common enemy for India and Pakistan. We are both victims of terrorism. We should not blame one another," he said.
"India and Pakistan are not only neighbours but partners in SAARC. We must make sincere and serious efforts to build trust," he said.
"We should make serious and sincere efforts to eradicate terror. The issue was extensively discussed," he said regarding the fight against terrorism.
"We should intensify our cooperation in our fight against terror. We have certainly made a lot of progress on every issue including the issue of terrorism," he said.
