Is Narayana Murthy losing faith in Bangalore, IT?

Citing the statement from the mentor of the IT giant, it seems that he (Mr Murthy) wants Karnataka to step into some other fields which will give the state a new dimension.
"The knowledge base sectors contribute over 40% of Karnataka's exports," said Mr Murthy.
Continuing his statement, Mr Murthy also added, "There is a need to diversify beyond the IT sector and beyond Bangalore."
Giving his suggestions to the government officials of the state, Mr Murthy said, "Friendly polices towards sunshine sectors will promote such a diversification."
Software exports contribute 21.4 per cent Karnataka's Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP).
