Jayalalithaa gets life threatening e-mail,security beefed up
Chennai police have already started investigating into the matter. According to sources, the CM is not alone in receiving such threatening mail but some people of her cabinet also have been threatened with such mails.
Sources, informed that Jayalalithaa received the anonymous mail on Wednesday, May 9. However, several contradictory reports have been popped up.
While local news papers in Tamil Nadu stated that the mail claimed to have blown up Madurai Meenakshi Amman and Srivilliputhur Andal temple, others reported that it threatened to hit and assassin the CM.
However, it seems that the mysterious mail was fake and sources informed that it was sent from Mumbai. Police searched both temple premises but their efforts to trace the "planted bombs" went in vain.
