Chennai poster hails Osama bin Laden's martyrdom

A senior city police officer has been quoted as saying to an English daily, “It will have to be removed. We will pull it down.”
The poster was put up to mark the first death anniversary of Osama who was killed by US Navy Seals in a covert operation after they busted his hideout in Abbottabad, Pakistan on May 2, 2011. The banner says, “Those dead who followed the path of Allah should not be called dead. One should think that they are still alive.”
A similar incident was reported earlier from Kerala when cards paying homage to Osama surfaced in Kottayam district, prompting the Kerala police to launch a probe into the matter.
