Telangana
New Delhi, Apr 24: The Congress-led UPA government has decided to take action against the Telangana MPs after they created a ruckus in the Lok Sabha session over Telanagana row, that forced Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar to adjourn the session till 2 pm on Tuesday, Apr 24.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has told the opposition party for consensus on action against the MPs. During the session, the MPs raised slogans and waved placards demanding a separate state.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Home Minister P Chidambaram, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal and Congress leader Ranee Narah requested the members to go back to their seats and maintain peace in the session.

The Opposition parties are likely to bring the controversial CD issue of Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi in the Parliament session that can cause further delay over the crucial pending issues.
