Blast rocks Assam's Bordumsa market of Tinsukia
No casualties have been reported so far.
The news comes a day after the banned United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) protested against the proposed visit of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to the state.
"The ULFA has called for a day long bandh to protest against the Prime Minister's visit on April 20", read an e-mail sent by the outfit to the local media said on Tuesday.
"The ULFA will oppose the visit as many cadres have been eliminated by the Indian security forces in the past", the mail said.
