B'lore: Win Rs 1.5 lc, iPods in brainstorming UTPT Quiz fest

Bangalore, Mar 29: Get your thinking caps on and be ready to face the acid test where you can win Rs 1.5 lakh prize money and iPods as the RV Quiz Corp, the official Quizzing Club of RVCE, Bangalore is coming up with one of the largest Quiz fest in India - Under the Peepal Tree (UTPT) 2012.

The three-day UTPT 2012 quiz fest will be held from Mar 30 to Apr 1. Many teams from some of the best colleges from all over India are expected to take part in the mega quiz event.

Each day has 2 quizzes, with the schedule as follows:

March 30th 2012, Friday at RVCE, Mysore Road:

1. Indi-genius (The India Quiz) - 9:30 am
2. Psi-Tech (The Science & Technology Quiz) - 2:00 pm

March 31st 2012, Saturday at RVCE, Mysore Road:

3. Game Theory (The Sport Quiz) - 9:30 am
4. Lieut-en-Ent Quiz (The Literature & Entertainment Quiz) - 2:00 pm
(Bus transportation will be provided for participants on 30th and 31st at 6:00 pm, by RVCE)

1st April 2012, Sunday at RV Teacher’s College, Jayanagar:

5. Major Quiz (The General Quiz) - 10:00 am
6. Magnum Open (The General-Open Quiz) - 3:00 pm

UTPT will be sponsored by California based RICOH Innovations Pvt Ltd, an R&D lab recently set up in the Silicon City, MYRA School of Business, a promising B School based in Mysore and State Bank of India (SBI).
