K'taka: Yeddyurappa again to be arrested? Warrant issued

BS Yeddyurappa
Bangalore, Mar 5: It seems that former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa could be arrested again as a fresh warrant has been issued against him. A Bangalore court issued the warrant on Monday, Mar 5 as the BJP leader failed to turn up to the court despite being summoned by the court several times.

The fresh warrant against Yeddyurappa has been issued over land denotification cases in which Yeddyurappa allegedly had played a major role. The BJP leader earlier was arrested over the same cases and later was released from jail.

Meanwhile, Siddaramaiah, Opposition leader in the Assembly criticised Yeddyurappa saying that he (BSY) is mentally unstable after losing chair following the corruption charges levelled against him (BSY).

"Yeddyurappa has been hankering after the top position in the party and is planning to hold conventions in Hubli and other places to display his strength to the party leadership. He has been changing his stance on political issues every day as he has become ‘mentally disturbed’ after losing power. He has resorted to blackmail tactics to get the post of CM or party state president," Siddaramaiah was quoted as saying.
