Compressed Natural Gas price hiked, Petrol price next

New Delhi, Mar 5: Price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) has been hiked in Delhi and in its adjacent areas. The latest hike in the price of CNG will be affected by Monday (Mar 5) midnight.

Price of CNG has been hiked upto Rs 1.99 per Kg. The new consumer price of CNG in Delhi would be Rs 35.65 per kg. The price of CNG would be Rs 39.80 in Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and in Gurgaon.

Central government informed that Petrol price will rise by Rs 4/litre, diesel by Rs 2/litre. The price rise of fuels will be effective across the country including major cities such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and many others.

However, the government mentioned that changes in price of petrol and diesel will be effective only after the assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh. Now, it seems that after the CNG, petrol and diesel price hike are on the cards.
