'CBI will have to face consequences if it 'touches' Jagan'

Hyderabad, Mar 5: A warning was issued to the CBI by the YSR Congress Party on Sunday that the arrest of Kadapa MP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the illegal assets case will raise crores of hands in protest across Andhra Pradesh.

Ambati Rambabu, YSR Congress spokesperson said that the CBI will have to face the consequences if they "touch" YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He also slammed certain television channels that aired on how Jagan cancelled his trip to Nellore and would be arrested any moment.

"It (the arrest rumour) was started by one channel whose management is known for its anti-Jagan stand and other channels too followed it (the story). There is no truth to the story. In fact, the MP's children wanted their father to spend some time with them on Sunday and so he cancelled the Nellore visit," he said.

He further said that Jaganmohan Reddy would campaign for the YSR Congress candidate from Monday for the Kovuru Assembly seat.

"The lakhs and crores fans of late YSR and Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy’s will not rest," he said.
