Bhopal: CBI detains Anna aide Shehla's murderer

Bhopal, March 2: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has detained the main accused in the Shehla Masood murder case, Zahida Parvez's friend Saba Farooqi. Saba might be arrested soon in connection with murder of the Anna Hazare aide-RTI activist.

Meanwhile, sources reported that love triangle and jealously could be reason behind Shehla's murder.

Shehla was reportedly introduced to a local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader by Zahida and their growing proximity could have been the reason for her death.

However, it has been found from Zahida's call records that she had links with alleged contract killer Shaqib alias Danger. Saba has reportedly confessed that she helped Zahida in killing Shehla.

According to sources, Zahida had hired three contract killers at a sum of Rs 2 lakhs and instructed them to kill Shehla. On Aug 16, 2011 Shehla Masood was found dead outside her house in Bhopal.
