Tata Comm to bid for London telecom giant C&W Worldwide

Mumbai, Mar 1: Tata Communications is all set to bid for Britain's telecom giants Cable & Wireless Worldwide Plc (CWW), reports said.

Reports further revealed that Tata Communications' deal with CWW is likely to happen in the next two weeks.

Tata Communications, part of India’s Tata conglomerate aims to improve its network in the UK and suffice its Internet-hungry customers by making a deal with the British telecom giant, Cable and Wireless Worldwide.

The cable & Wireless Worldwide has been providing communication services including voice, data and IP based services and applications to large corporates, governments, carrier customers and resellers across the UK, Asia Pacific, India, Middle East & Africa, Continental Europe and North America since Mar 2010.
