Nitish Kumar's B'day: PM, Lok Sabha Speaker sends greetings

Patna, Mar 1: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and several other politicians greeted Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on his 61st birthday on Thursday.

They wished the chief minister a long life, success and good health. Assembly Speaker Uday Narayan Choudhary and Legislative Council Chairman Tarakant Jha also conveyed their good wishes to Kumar. Ministers and members of both the houses of the state legislature also wished Kumar.

Roses and pens were gifted to the chief minister in his official chamber in the assembly by those turning up to greet him.
