Punjab: Live-in relationship costs life? Girl beheaded

Amristar, Mar 1: A girl who was in a live-in relationship was beheaded by unidentified assailants in Maqboolpura locality, Amritsar, said police on Thursday.

The 20-year-old girl identified as Parveen was staying with Luvjeet, who is currently jailed over his involvement in a rape case.

Reports reveal that the girl was beheaded by unidentified assailants on Wednesday when she was alone in the house. Her body was found in another room, said Ashwani Kumar, police inspector.

He further said that the matter was brought into the notice of police by the locals and it was being looked into.
