Digvijay Singh a piece of garbage: Baba Ramdev

New Delhi, Feb 22: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev lashed out at Congress leader Digvijay Singh calling him a 'piece of garbage' and said that AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi was following his suit.

"Earlier, mentor (Digvijay Singh) used to attack Baba (Ramdev). But the mentor is rejected one. Now, disciple (Rahul Gandhi) has begun doing so. Garbage (Digvijay Singh) of Madhya Pradesh has arrived in Uttar Pradesh and creating danger. Generally, people bury garbage in the soil. I am not advocating that somebody should be buried, but such dangerous garbage must be uprooted," said Baba Ramdev.

"After independence nearly Rs 4 lakh crore has been looted. This party was not only a mute spectator to that plunder, but also cooperated in this plunder, shielded the corrupt and encouraged graft in the country," said Baba Ramdev.

He also lashed out at the Congress Party over the remark that Congress President Sonia Gandhi cried after viewing the Batla House encounter images.

"Militants have killed more 1,00,000 innocent people, then they are not angry and then they did not cry," said Baba Ramdev.
