Saif Ali Khan in trouble, assaults man in Taj Hotel, booked

Mumbai, Feb 22: A case has been registered against Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan on Wednesday, Feb 23 when his new movie - Agent Vinod with Kareena Kapoor is all set to be released on Mar 23. Khan has been accused of assaulting a man in Taj Hotel, Mumbai.

The man, who has registered the case against Saif under 325 section of Indian Penal Code (IPC), has been identified as Iqbal Sharma, who also claimed that Saif along with two other people assaulted him inside Wasabi restaurant in Taj hotel at Colaba.

Mumbai police has already started investigation and sources informed that Saif may face a jail-term for seven years if he is found guilty in the case. The actor has been accused of punching Mr Sharma on his nose following an altercation on Tuesday night.

This is not the first time Saif has landed in legal trouble. The actor had assaulted a photojournalist in 2008, though the case was dismissed following a mutual understanding between Saif and the photojournalist.
