Delhi Hit and run case: Cleaner kills two men

New Delhi
New Delhi, Feb 20: In a hit and run case, a cleaner killed two men near Ansal Plaza on Khel Gaon Marg in south Delhi on Monday, Feb 20. Manish, the main accused allegedly lost control over the car and hit them.

The incident took place at around 6 am, as reported by Times Now. The deceased were Sultan Singh (50) and Raja Ram (30). After the incident, Manish quietly kept the car in the parking lot and left.

Kartik Pandey, an Under Secretary in the External Affairs Ministry is the owner of the car.

Chhaya Sharma, Deputy Commissioner of Police was quoted as saying, "Manish had told us that he had taken the car without the knowledge of Pandey for a joyride with his friends in the morning hours. He had accepted this."

One of the victims daughter was to get engaged on Monday, Feb 20, as reported by the official. Police officials were accused by Singh's son-in-law Kush Kapoor, claiming that they were trying to save the government official. While Police denied the allegations.

"The accident took place at 6 AM and the official had registered a case of vehicle theft three hours later. We suspect a cover up. We want justice," Kapoor said.
