Tamil Nadu:DMK exposes BJP's secret move to woo Jayalalithaa

Commenting on Mr Acharya's resignation, DMK spokesman TKS Elangovan said, "They (BJP) are trying to woo regional parties and defeat Congress. In the process they are upto anything."
The DMK supremo accused BJP, who is in the power in Karnataka, of pressurising Mr Acharya to put his resignation letter. Here it can be mentioned that Mr Acharya was also the Special Public Prosecutor in the disproportionate assets case against Jayalalithaa who earlier was summoned to Bangalore to attend court hearing over the same case.
However, Mr Acharya reportedly said that he would not blame the state government (Karnataka) but also hinted that some pressure came from BJP's central leadership to quit one post "which means it could be Advani and Gadkari".
