India no more safe for infants; baby stolen from hospital

Baby Girl
Kurnool, Feb 6: It seems that government hospitals are no more safe for infants. A baby girl was abducted from a government hospital in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.

The parents of the victim stay in Kurnool town. The family members had taken the baby child to the verandah of the hospital, where a woman clad in burqa befriended them.

Later, the grandmother was called by the hospital attendant for some reason. She handed the kid to the lady in burqa and only when she returned, she realised that the child was abducted.

The town police station have registered a case against the unknown lady. Meanwhile, police asked the hospital authorities to install CCTV cameras for security reasons.
