2G: Supreme Court rules out SIT to oversee CBI probe

New Delhi, Feb 2: The Supreme Court giving out its landmark verdict on the 2G spectrum scam has also dismissed lawyer Prashant Bhushan's petition seeking the constitution of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to oversee the CBI probe into the 2G spectrum investigation. The court stated that the CBI will submit its report in a sealed envelope to the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).
