Anna Hazare cancels Delhi visit on Republic Day

New Delhi, Jan 25: Social activist and anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare on Wednesday, Jan 25 cancelled his Jan 26 visit to national capital.

The veteran Gandhian was scheduled to share stage with former naval chief Admiral L Ramdas and environmentalist Vandana Shiva in the national capital on Republic Day during a seminar on the need for citizens’ participation in law making.

Meanwhile, seminer is being organized by Team Anna as the part of its awarness campaign ahead of the assembly elections in five poll-bound states. The seminar on the topic "Rebuilding our Republic".
