15k people sing National Anthem,creates world record for Ind

Report further claim that, with a tally of 15,243 participants took India into the Guinness Book of World Records for "the most people singing a national anthem simultaneously", deleting the previous record held by Pakistan for 5800 individuals.
Andrea Banfi, Head of Adjudicators, Guinness World Records Ltd (GWR) handed over a certificate for creating the new world record, to Rajya Sabha MP and Chairman of city-based Lokmat Media, Vijay Darda, who accepted it on behalf of the local citizens.
The events was organised by Network 18, who owns the CNN-IBN at a sports complex in Central Maharashtra to commemorate the completion of 100 years of the national anthem.
