US President Obama's daughters find him embarrassing
According to Michelle Obama, 13-year-old Malia and 8-year-old Sasha, find the parent teacher conferences the worst because of the presidential motorcade, said Michelle Obama in an interview with the CBS.
"They don't really want us to come to school, especially the president, because when he comes for a parent-teacher conference, it's a motorcade," she said in the interview.
"The other day, Malia was like, 'Oh no, is dad coming? Is he bringing all those cars? Really it's like the other day I think they almost hit my teacher'," she said.
She further said that the girls preferred watching movies in public cinemas than using the White House movie theatre.
"I'm like, 'We have that movie here' and they're like 'I don't care'," said Michelle.
"My kids are like any children -- anything we do is not cool. They will go in the other direction," she said.
Michelle Obama also said that she was looking forward to her girls meeting and dating boys they liked and said that Malia had her own cell phone that she used to "reach out to friends", but her contact list was limited and all her calls were supervised.
