Metro connecting Airport not to be available on Sunday

New Delhi, Jan 13: Delhi Metro, connecting major area with the international airport - Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport, will not be available on Sunday, Jan 15.

Reliance Infrastructure on Friday, Jan 13 announced that the Metro will resume its work on Monday, Jan 16. Here it can be mentioned that Reliance Infrastructure operates the lines connecting Dwarka and New Delhi railway station with IGI airport.

The Delhi Metro will not available on Sunday as it will be closed for the day over annual maintenance. However, many, particularly South Indians, residing in the national capital, might be upset over the news as India especially the South Indian states will be celebrating Makar Sankranti, Pongal on that day.
