Modi to launch audio, braille edition of Bal Shrusti tomorrow

Ahmedabad, Jan 3: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi shall launch audio and braille edition of a children's monthly magazine on Wednesday, Jan 3. The braille and audio version of "Bal Shrusti", a monthly magazine for children published by Gujarat Rajya Shala Pathya Pustak Mandal, has been prepared at Blind Peoples' Association (BPA), a statement from BPA said here.

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is going to launch Braille as well as the audio edition tomorrow, it said. Every year January 4 is celebrated as 'Louis Braille Day' to commemorate the birth anniversary of Louis Braille, inventor of the braille script.

As part of the day celebrations, a visually impaired person shall be reading Gujarati News Bulletin on Doordarshan at 7 pm tomorrow. While another blind person will read the regional news broadcast at 7.10 pm on AIR, Ahmedabad tomorrow, a statement said.
