Missing child drama rocks Chennai, ends with Happy ending

Chennai, Jan 3: It has been a tough time for Chennai police and the parents of the 18-year-old girl, Priyadarshini who was missing since Monday (Jan 2) morning. However, everyone was relieved as the girl has been found in a hospital (Institute of Child Health) on Tuesday morning.

It has been reported that Priyadarshini went missing when she was sleeping beside her father in a hospital (Kilpauk Medical College) where her mother recently gave birth to an another baby.

Doctors in Institute of Child Health informed that a person along with the girl came to the hospital and when he was asked to bring the mother of the child, he left the girl without giving any details of the child.

Later citing the news about "missing child" in newspapers and TV channels, the hospital authorities came to know about Priyadarshini's identity and they contacted her father, Rajesh - a residence of Tiruverkadu.
