Anna's health derails agitation plans; IAC to do a re-think
Anna is still in Sancheti hospital, Pune following chest congestion, severe bronchitis and viral fever. Though his condition is improving, his doctors have advised complete rest for the next seven days before he recovers. The doctors have also strictly advised him not to go on fast for the next one month.
Anna, however was confident to resume his fight against corruption. He was quoted as saying, "I am not as unwell as people may think. My condition has improved. I will get better soon, please do not worry about my health."
Dr Parag Sancheti added on Anna's health, "We have requested (advised) Anna not to go on any fast for a month. He will be discharged in 5-6 days." Dr Mahendra Kavedi commented, "Anna is improving, less swelling; weight is 69.7, which is stable. His chest has bronchitis and will need four more days of antibiotics. He is moving around on his own."
India Against Corruption has also indefinitely postponed the core committee meeting citing Anna's ill health. Key Team Anna member, Arvind Kejriwal will travel to the Pune hospital where Anna is, to formulate the next course of action.
