All records surpassed; Sabarimala revenue hits Rs 114 crore

Recently, OneIndia had reported that revenue of Sabrimala temple in Kerala touched Rs 77.72 crore. Surprisingly within a few days, the revenue has touched Rs 114 crore.
Last year in 2010, the total revenue was calculated at Rs 58.78 crore and this year it has been reported that the revenue scale has broken all records.
It seems that pilgrims overruled the threat imposed on them following the controversy between Kerala and Tamil Nadu over Mullaperiyar dam.
Various reports had emerged that pilgrims from Tamil Nadu returned homes without visiting Sabarimala over violence at Tamil Nadu-Kerala border. Thousands of visitors reached Sabarimala to get a glimpse of Lord Ayyappa.
