Team Anna threatens to carry out Jail Bharo campaign

Reiterating his stand, Anna Hazare threatened to go on an indefinite fast from Dec 27 in case the Lokpal Bill was not passed in the current session and will stage a protest in front of the parliament.
However, India's face of anti-corruption movement - Anna Hazare expressed confidence in the government and said he is hopeful of an effective Lokpal bill being passed this session.
Meanwhile, Congress-led UPA government and the opposition parties failed to break the deadlock even after three hours of all-party meeting on Wednesday (Dec 14) evening, indicating major differences of opinion. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had sought its allies cooperation to ensure its passage in current session of the Parliament.
