Obscene MMS: Delhi police molest University student?

New Delhi, Dec 14: A gruesome allegation has been hurled against the Delhi police as a 19-year-old girl, who is a Delhi University student, accused two cops of trying to molest her and trying to make an MMS inside the police station at Prasad Nagar, Delhi.

The complainant alleged that she along with her relatives was picked up from her uncle's house and was taken to the police station where she was locked up in a different room away from her relatives.

According to the FIR lodged by the girl, the two police officials tried to sexually molest her and make an obscene MMS with their mobile phones. However, the girl somehow manged to escape the place.

The girl and her relatives were taken to the police station over the investigation regarding a kidnapping case in which another relative of the complainant is involved.

Meanwhile, a police spokesperson said, "She is one of the parties in a habeas corpus petition in the high court which is coming up for hearing later this month. Hence, we do not want to comment on the sensitive issue."
