WB: Kishenji's bro emerges as a new threat to Mamata

Maoists
Hyderabad/Kolkata, Dec 10: Celebration over the victory of Mamata Banerjee's men (killing of Maoist leader Kishenji) has come to an end as sources confirmed that Koteshwar Rao alias Kishenji's younger brother, Mallojula Venugopal Rao alias Bhupathi has taken the responsibilities left by him.

After a private meting at Jungle-mahal, Maoist spokesman Abhay declared that Mallojula Venugopal has been assigned as the secretary of Maoists for West Bengal division.

A release by the Maoists say, "This is only a temporary arrangement as Bhupathi was aware of the programs and strategies followed by Kishenji. We need him to continue the leadership in the CRB which is facing stiff hostility from the Green Hunt forces."

According to intelligence report, Bhupathi, who is also an efficient guerrilla as his brother, has already entered West Bengal through the forest region in Midnapore district. "They already have put in place a contingency plan to move their key personnel and resources and have mobilized tribal companies and provided them military training," media reports quoted a spokesperson as saying.
