Two nurses of AMRI died saving lives of patients

"She called us saying that the hospital was on fire and there was a lot of smoke building up. She told us that she found it difficult to breathe and didn't know what to do," said Remya's mother.
Sources said two nurses saved eight patients in the general ward and died trying to save more. Both nurses family are financially weak and their death kept them in state of shock. Minutes after fire broke out Remys called up her mother, Usha, expressed about the incident but soon after connection vanished.
Vineetha, of Pullickal house in Kothanallur had gone to Kolkata in few months ago after pursuing nursing from Hyderabad. Remya Rajappan, 24, of Macheril House, Uzhavoor, had joined the hospital about eight months ago.
