Crorepati Peon with Rs 10 cr exposed in Corrupt India

Following a raid in the house of the peon, who has been identified as Narendra Kumar Deshmukh, the special police establishment of the Lokayukta unearthed assets worth Rs 10 crore.
According to sources, Deshmukh owns several acres of land, holds ten bank accounts, has shares in a factory and hotel in Mumbai and also owns many houses.
Police sources informed that the team seized Rs 30,000 in cash, 10 mobile phones, gold and silver ornaments, 3 laptops, 2 computers, 2 LCDs, 4 four-wheelers including 1 Tavera, 4 two-wheelers, lockers and documents of various banks showing transactions to the tune of crores of rupees.
The revelations shocked and surprised many and also left a question for Anna Hazare's struggle to get a "corruption-free" India.
