Bhanwari Devi case: CBI takes Maderna to Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 4: The CBI shifted sacked Rajasthan minister Mahipal Singh Maderna to Delhi for questioning in the killing of auxilary nurse, Bhanwari Devi case.

Maderna and Parasram Bishnoi were remanded to judicial custody till Dec 9 by Jodhpur court for their alleged involvement in the Bhanwari Devi case.

Maderna was arrested by the CBI for his alleged involvement in the abduction and killing of Bhanwari Devi after her husband filed a complaint that his wife went missing.

Bhanwari Devi had gone missing from Bilara area, Jodhpur on Sep 1. Mahipal Maderna was later sacked by Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot, Chief Minister from the state cabinet on Oct 16 over his alleged involvement in the case.

Bhanwari Devi was allegedly using a sex CD to blackmail Maderna that showed them in a compromising position.

Shahbuddin, the key accused in the abduction of the nurse revealed that the nurse is dead.
