A Guide of Dev Anand's family

Mumbai, Dec 4: The evergreen romantic superstar of Bollywood, Devanand who passed away in London after he suffered a cardiac arrest on Saturday night in London shocked the entire film fraternity and his fans, who are still not able to digest the fact that he is no more.

The actor is survived by his wife and a son and daughter. He married Kalpana Kartik (original name Mona Singh), a film actress in the '50s.

Devanand's son Suneil also acted in films but unlike his father, he couldn't garner much fame, his daughter's name is Devina.

The Yesteryear actor was also a cyber space enthusisatic and was vey active on the micro-blogging site and often seen interacting with people/fans on Twitter.

The actor had sent his last online tweet on Dec 2, a day before his death. His death also shocked Bollywood. Twitter was abuzz with tweets from celebrities condoling the death of the superstar.

"An era has come to an end ...Dev Anand leaves a void never perhaps to be filled again... his never give up belief, his joy of life!," read Amitabh Bachchan's tweet.

"Had just met Dev Saheb at his premiere recently .. he was weak but full of spirit ..the newspapers confirming his passing away ..sad. Just reading news about Dev Saheb... praying it is not true! He was such a positive person...never associated death with him," he said.

"Sad to hear about Dev Anand's demise. Another icon leaves the stage. My condolences to his family. We will miss him," said actress Madhuri Dixit.

The evergreen actor as he is called will be cremated in London next week after the arrival of his family.
