Sick Amar Singh to escape kidnapping charges, case to close?

Amar Singh has been accused of kidnapping a key witness in the 2008 cash-for-votes scam.
According to the crime branch, Delhi Police, the complaint against Amar Singh by Hashmat Ali, a key witness in the cash-for-votes-scam, was "without merit" and thus be dismissed.
A registration of an FIR was sought against the former SP leader along with his secretary Tarun and Ramesh, his aide under different provisions of the IPC and the Arms Act relating to criminal intimidation, kidnapping, robbery and illegal confinement.
Amar Singh, who was arrested for his alleged involvement in the cash-for-votes scam was granted bail in Oct.
The Delhi High Court had earlier granted bail to all accused in the case. The charges against those involved in the case involves bribing MPs ahead of trust vote.
