Ranchi: Class X girl commits suicide

Ranchi, Nov 24: A class X girl committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her house at Kishoregunj, Sukhdev Nagar area, Ranchi.

The girl, Maya Kumari was alone at her house when she took the extreme step, said her brother Sushil Kumar, a teacher by profession.

"When I returned home around 10 pm, I saw her hanging," said Kumar.

"We have sent the body for autopsy after which it will be handed over to the family for cremation," said the officer, Kamal Kishore who added that there was no specific reason as to why she took her life.
