IIMC's 50th celebration to be addressed by APJ Abdul Kalam

Kolkata, Nov 15: Former President APJ Abdul Kalam will address the convention at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, on its 50th celebration of the country's oldest IIM.

IIMC sources claimed that "during this two-day convention, globally renowned speakers from various stakeholder groups will share their perspectives on the sustainability issues. It will be inaugurated by Dr Kalam."

A host of industry leaders and management gurus from India and abroad would address the convention on 'Management Education for Sustainable Tomorrow.'

The Directors and Deans of all IIMs and other major B-Schools in India will discuss about the future of the management education, which will be the part of celebration.

Other functions include granting a title of Distinguished Alumnus Award to the Alumnus on Nov 15 and Nov 16, and an exhibition of materials, which depicts the history of IIMC and the IIM system.
