Delhi: Teen maid beaten, dumped in hosp, Bizman arrested

New Delhi, Nov 7: A teen girl, who hails from Balasore, Orissa, was brutally beaten up by his employer's wife and dumped in a hospital in Delhi.

The girl was not able to move from her bed at the hospital as she has been suffering from back-bone fracture. The victim was admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital with multiple injuries and a fractured spine since Oct 22.

Police arrested the victim's employer, a businessman in Delhi's Paschim Vihar. The arrested businessman is a laundry equipment manufacturer. Police also arrested the victim's uncle who brought her (the victim) from Orissa.

The victim described the incident, "A week before Diwali, my employer"s wife asked me to clean the garage. I was asked to start by clearing up space by lifting a heavy trunk."

"The trunk was too heavy and fell on me. I started crying in pain but my employer"s wife slapped me several times and threw me into the toilet. I had to lock myself in because I was scared she would make me lift the trunk again," added the victim.
