Actress Shriya Saran bears brunt of Telangana fury

Hyderabad, Nov 5: Popular Tamil and Tollywood actress Shriya Saran had to bear the brunt of Telangana agitation when her shooting was disrupted by pro-Telangana supporters. The incident occurred when she was shooting for a movie in Rajendranagar in Hyderabad.

Students from the NG Agricultural College arrived at the shooting site shouting Telangana slogans. They demanded that Shriya say 'Jai Telangana' on camera. After she refused, the students went on a rampage and pelted stones at her car. She was accompanied out of the venue by film crew.

But the protestors continued to pelt stones at the van where Shriya was taken as well.
