'Corrupt' Team Anna member Kiran Bedi wants to be hanged!

New Delhi, Oct 23: Citing several corruption charges against Team Anna, Kiran Bedi on Sunday, Oct 23 claimed to hang them if that helps.

"Hang some of us if that helps," stated Bedi who also faced corruption charges over payment of flight ticket. Bedi also claimed that they (Team Anna members) became the scapegoats for creating awareness about corruption and electoral process among people.

"Team Anna is paying a personal cost for raising national concerns on rampant corruption and voter awareness to ensure the passing of the Jan Lokpal Bill in Parliament," stated Bedi.

The statement came after a former Team Anna member, Swamy Agnivesh fueled up the fire after reiterating that Arvind Kejriwal has diverted money from the fund of India Against Corruption to his (Kejriwal's) own NGO.

Showing their rage against their accusers, Bedi also chided, "...hang some of us if that helps. If my saving for poor by means I followed is wrong I be punished. Same Lokpal can punish me. Distraction is being manipulated."
