T-Stir: JAC calls Telangana bandh on Oct 17

TJAC convener Prof. Kodandaram, who organised a high level discussions with TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao and other leaders and decided to launch the stir on Sunday (Today) to protest the booking of cases against T-agitators including rulling Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar and detention of 60 women leaders. They were booked under the Railway Protection Act.
"The government is acting in an inhumanely and booking false cases against its own party leaders. The Sakala Janula Samme will be intensified," said Prof. Kodandaram
Meanwhile, Congress MPs K Keshava Rao and Madhu Yashki have requested the Andhra Pardesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to withdraw the cases against Congress MPs from Telangana region.
