SC orders Police to give postmortem rpt to Rajbala's family

New Delhi, Oct 1: With Baba Ramdev supporter Rajbala succumbing to her injuries recently, the Delhi Police sure will be rethinking about their decision to carry out a midnight crackdown on Ramdev's campaign against black money. The Supreme Court has now ordered the Delhi police to give the postmortem report to the family of Rajbala.

Following her death, Rajbala's family had alleged that they were not handed over the postmortem report leading to raised suspicion on the cause of the death. Rajbala had sustained serious injuries in the brutal midnight crackdown at the Ramlila grounds where Ramdev was protesting.

The Delhi police, however wanted to wash its hands off the issue by saying that Rajbala was injured following the ensuing stampede at the Ramlila grounds. She was in hospital since the episode and remained there for 114 days. She breathed her last last week.
