Centre sanctions Rs 121 crore for Bhopal''s BRTS
This was conveyed on Thursday by the Union Urban Administration Minister Kamal Nath at a meeting held in New Delhi, sources in the Madhya Pradesh Urban Administration department said.
Madhya Pradesh Urban Administration Minister Babulal Gaur was among those who attended the meeting.
Kamal Nath also gave information about sanction of the second instalment of Rs 171 crore for 20 cities under the Urban Infrastructure Development Scheme for Small and Medium Towns (UIDSSMT) scheme, which is being implemented with the assistance of Central government in 33 cities of Madhya Pradesh.
Gaur urged Kamal Nath to sanction Rs 642 crore for 19 new drinking water schemes of 19 cities of the state, which was consented by the Union Minister, the sources said.
Nath also sanctioned Rs 97 crore for the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of Indore Riverside Corridor Project.
