Jaya Prada's heart breaks, barred to meet Amar Singh @ AIIMS

New Delhi, Sep 29: Bollywood actress and MP Jaya Prada on Thursday, Sept 29 was not allowed to meet former Samajwadi party leader Amar Singh at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

The actress informed that she was stopped by the police officials who were deployed at the hospital for the security of the former SP leader.

Jaya Prada also informed that Amar Singh's "health is deteriorating". The health condition worsened after a Delhi court on Wednesday rejected his (Amar Singh's) interim bail plea over cash-for-votes scam.

Amar Singh has been suffering from various ailments and is under the care of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) doctors. He was earlier granted an interim bail on health grounds after his health deteriorated after being jailed. He was arrested over his alleged role in the cash for votes scam that played out in the Parliament.

Earlier, Jaya Prada, defending Amar Singh, had hurled attack on Amitabh Bachchan stating, "The big celebrities whom he helped, he fought to get them land...the famous people, where are they?"

"If he opens his mouth, many people will be inconvenienced. Yet, he has been patient throughout this ordeal and he has kept his secrets to himself. The big people who had benefitted from him have not even tried to find out his condition," she added.
