Delhi HC Blast: Rs 10 lakh compensation to victims

Chief Justice of Delhi High Court Dipak Misra and Justice Sanjiv Khanna said the compensation amount "should be equally shared by the (two) governments". The bench also declared Rs 3 lakh to seriously injured and Rs 20,000 to minor injured.
Earlier, on Sept 14 the bench issued a notice to both the government by asking their response by Sept 21 on hearing to provide reasonable compensation to blast victims.
Delhi government's standing counsel Najmi Waziri had said earlier court declared compensation was Rs 4 lakh for the families those killed in the blast and Rs 2 lakh for permanently incapacitated.The Delhi blast left 15 dead and over 90 injured.
