Azhar's son Ayazuddin forced cousin to go on a race?

Hyderabad, Sept 19: Mohammad Azharuddin, cricketer and Congress MP, Moradabad's son, Ayazuddin forced his 16-year-old cousin, Ajmal-ur-Rahman to go on a bike ride on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Sept 11, said reports.

According to a report in the Mumbai Mirror, Ajmal's father Khaleeq-ur-Rehman, a Congress leader told police that Ayaz forced his son to join him a race after which they left the house at 6.30 am. An hour later they met with an accident which cost their lives.

There were even reports that Khaleeq filed a complaint against Ayaz which he later rubbished, saying he did not file any complaint but gave a statement to the police.

Facebook messages that were exchanged between Ayazuddin and his cousin Ajmal also revealed that the duo planned to join a drag race at 4.30 am in the morning on Outer Ring Road, Hyderabad. It read

Ajmal: Change your display pic

Ayaz: Sunday morning orr (Outer Ring Road, where bikes are banned)

Ajmal: Time?

Ayaz: 4:30, 4:45 (am)

Ajmal: That"s too early. We will go a bit late

Ayaz: No. That is perfect time only

Sources even reveal that there were other five or six motorcycles in the race that morning who have not been identified so far.

While Ajmal was declared dead an hour after he was admitted to the hospital, Ayaz passed away on Sept 16, five days after he was admitted to the Apollo Hospital. [Read more: Hyd: Azharuddin's son Ayazuddin dies at Apollo Hospital]
