Padmanabha: Expert panel want CRPF for temple security

Supreme Court noted that blind belief cannot be encouraged and there has to be consensus on issues among various parties. The SC also noted that blind beliefs and security won't go together.
The expert panel has also recommended that the CRPF come in for the security adding that the current security was high on promise, but low on performance. It said that the Kerala government was against bringing CRPF for the temple's security.
The SC, meanwhile, said that tradition would be respected but superstition and impracticality would not be encouraged.
The Royal Travancore family opposed to the idea of opening of the vault as they argued that the valuables belonged to the deity of the temple.
