Actress Ramya to contest against Priyank for Youth Cong?

Bangalore, Sep 16: Kannada actress Ramya who filed her nomination to booth level elections of the Indian Youth Congress may probably contest against Priyank Kharge, son of Union minister Mallikarjun Kharge.

The elections of the Indian Youth Congress (IYC), will be held from September 16 to 21, in Karnataka.

“Let me just see whether I will fit into the slot and will then think of contesting for the president"s post," said Ramya.

"Yes. I am standing for the booth-level elections that will be held on September 16. I have been nominated for the Shanthinagar area. As part of the Youth Congress, I am looking at making use of this platform to serve the people and make a difference to society. I would like to do all that I possibly can to bring forth issues and concerns of the people in the area and bring about positive change," Ramya had said after confirming reports that she would fight election.
