A(nother) Wednesday: A cursed terror Day for Delhi, Mumbai

Delhi blast 2011
New Delhi, Sept 7: It seems that Wednesday has indeed become a terror day for India. Once again on Wednesday the country witnessed another ghastly bomb blast and the home ministry has confirmed that it was a terror attack.

A suitcase bomb blast out side the High Court of the national capital of the country left at least 10 dead and more than 65 injured on Wednesday, Sept 7.

Similarly, on another Wednesday (Jul 13, 2011), Mumbai had experienced a serial blast in Dadar, Opera House and Zaceri Bazar. Many people were dead and more than 130 were brutally injured in the three blasts.

However, accepting the suitcase blast as a terror attack, Home Minister, P Chidambaram declared nation-wide terror alert. All major metros in India have raised security following a high alert declared across the state. A state of heightened alert have been announced in Bihar and Mumbai.

A medium intensity blast is what the police have claimed on the incident. With Home Minister P Chidambaram saying in Parliament, "Terror module involved in the blast not identified yet," the investigations are underway to nail the culprits.
